Headquarters Barbados Defence Force joined with other militaries around the world to reflect on the signing of the Armistice Treaty in 1918, to honor those fallen during armed conflict at the Officers’ Mess St Ann’s Fort Garrison. The occasion was marked with 2-minutes of silence on 11 November 2020.

Reverend Major Max Springer in his remarks commended the BDF for its continued efforts to remember those who not only fought in armed conflicts or died during active service, but also to the many servicepersons who selflessly continue to serve today.

The members of the Force were joined by visiting members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
