The Chief of Staff, Colonel Glyne Grannum recently hosted, Ghanaian, House of Lords the Rt Hon Lord Paul Boateng of Akyem and Wembley and his wife Lady Janet Boateng, at the Officers’ Mess St Ann’s Fort. During the visit they engaged in discussions surrounding the Ashanti Wars of 1824 and 1902; the African Diaspora and the Barbadian Society. Historical depictions of the Ashanti Wars are displayed on the walls of the Officers’ Mess.
