During the past week, Headquarters Barbados Defence commenced training exercises to improve its contingency plans to prepare and respond to severe weather systems.

The training Exercise - Exercise CORONA Storm, will practice and test the BDF’s response to multi-hazard impacts. The Exercise will also be used as a means to improve the coordination requirements between the various emergency response agencies and examine and refine operational capabilities and readiness.
