Thank You

St Bernard’s Primary School

The Principal and staff of the above-mentioned school would like to take this opportunity to offer sincere thanks to Major Proverbs and members of his team and their colleagues at the Barbados Coast Guard for taking time out from their busy schedules to facilitate our Professional Development Workshop on Team Building.

It was not only an informative session, but the practical component encouraged the improvement of some of our interpersonal skills such as: communication, negotiation, leadership and motivation.  As a result, we were provided with some useful ways in which we can collaborate as educators to improve our teaching and learning.

We look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Andrew R. Thompson (Mr.)

Coordinator

For Marlon Wilson (Mr.)

Principal

On behalf of the Chairperson and Council of the Royal Commonwealth Society, Barbados Branch, we write to express our gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Barbados Defence Force for extending its facilities and Officers to ensure the success of the Inaugural Sir Elliott Belgrave Creative Communication Shield Awards ceremony.

All Officers with whom we came into contact displayed the highest standards of conduct. We thank Captain Philip Eno who performed the role of Master of Ceremonies and we wish to commend, in particular, Captain Wesley Beckles, who was outstanding as he took care of all arrangements with the greatest attention to detail.

We wish the Barbados Defence Force continued success.

On behalf of the Probation Department and the participants of the Acquiring Skills Men Actually Need (ASMAN) Camp held during the month of April 2019, I extend sincere thanks and gratitude for your invaluable contribution to the success of the Camp.

We look forward to continued partnership as we endeavor to make a positive impact on the lives of the young men of our society and to divert them from further offending.

On behalf of the FM-H SLCT Helpline and on my own personal behalf I want to express profound appreciation and gratitude for your wonderful contribution to Camp Inspire.

I would like to claim “mission accomplished” and that it was a great success – and this is how it appears at the moment. But in the final analysis we will have to wait and see whether your wonderful efforts have borne fruit with these teenagers.  At the very least I noted that at the end of the camp some measure of inspiration and improved behaviour was evident among the children.

Thanks once again for your enthusiasm, interest and investment of time and energy in the children of the Grantley Adams Memorial School and generally of Barbados.

Chairperson
