Troops Receive Treats!

The Barbados Defence Force recently received its own care packages from Managing Director of Operations at Sky Mall Everick Eastmond in collaboration with Haigh Communications. The packages included power aid drinks, juices, protein bars, nuts, plantain chips and bottled water.

Eastmond explained that in consideration of BDFs efforts in the fight against COVID-19, that “we will always do what we can to help. At the moment the mall is closed with the exception of the supermarket but we are also exploring how we can assist in getting the country through this period…”

Ms Joy-Ann Haigh, Chief Executive Officer of Haigh Communications added that, “we felt it was equally important to help those who are up and down in this hot sun trying hard to make sure that the Care Relief Packs are delivered to those who are in need of them. We appreciate their service and it is a token of our appreciation to the hard work of the men and women of the BDF”

Haigh added that her company would continue to reach out to corporate Barbados in an effort to facilitate the spirit of helping as “we are all in this together.”
